Pullman-built in 1956 for Seaboard Air Line’s flagship train ‘The Silver Meteor”. It has all new large side windows and new dome glass. The kitchen galley and bar give the car extra abilities. It features two shower facilities and contains five bedrooms holding a maximum of ten. There are no less than 27 seats in the lounge with meal seating capacity of sixteen. There are two leather reclining chairs, two couches, two tables with four chairs, two booths, and three bar chairs for the bar. The A end of the car has an all glass door with two large rectangular windows for scenic viewing to the rear when operated as the tail car in a train’s consist. The large solarium side windows and flat top domed glass make this unique car a favorite of many. Three were built by Pullman, but this is the only survivor operating as one was totally scrapped and another is a mere “shell” and stripped of all fluting.
